Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor has it been submitted to another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

DETAILED GUIDELINES FOR PREPARING A MANUSCRIPT BY THE AUTHOR BASED ON THE APA STYLE SHEET FORMATTING GUIDELINES:

  • manuscripts should be submitted as Microsoft Word files
  • formatting: Times New Roman 12-point font size
  • all margins should be 2.5 cm.
  • continuous page numbering (page numbers should be centered at the bottom of the page)
  • no automatic hyphenation
  • tables and figures should be described and referenced
  • affiliation should be placed in the upper-left corner:
    • name and surname of the author/authors
    • authorized ORCID
    • academic degree
    • university and city
    • telephone no.
    • e-mail

Copyright Notice

In accordance with the recommendation of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, which aims to counteract the practice of “ghostwriting” and “guest authorship,” all authors submitting their text for publication should attach an author’s statement which declares the contribution of each of the authors to the article. The printed and signed statement should be delivered by mail or other means to editor-in-chief Joanna Skibska or sent in the form of a scan to the following e-mail address: redakcja@kontekstypedagogczne.pl. The authors will not receive remuneration for publishing their papers. The editors reserve the right to make minor editorial changes to the articles which will not affect the substance of the article. We encourage all authors to prepare their articles in accordance with the guidelines for manuscript preparation. Authors transfer all copyrights and grant the journal the right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal. All authors agree to the publishing of their email addresses, affiliations and short bio statements with their articles during the submission process.
